Refactoring My Path

2024 - Present

For years, I worked with numbers, analyzed financial statements, and navigated the world of corporate finance. It was structured, it was analytical—it made sense. But deep down, I knew I wanted more. In May of 2024, I took a step back, got my Green Card (huge milestone!), and decided to explore new horizons. I started to do freelance work, picked up projects in marketing and design—turns out, I loved building things. That's when it clicked: tech was where I wanted to be. So, I made the leap. Here I am now, building a Portfolio!

Next Stop: USA

2022 - 2023

In November 2022, I moved to the U.S. to work as a financial analyst for Saint-Gobain Adfors. While adapting to a new country, I started learning Python on my own, initially to automate tasks and improve efficiency. The more I coded, the more I realized I enjoyed problem-solving through technology rather than working with financial data. Over time, it became clear—finance wasn't the right fit for me. This realization set the stage for my transition into tech.

The Finance Era

2017 - 2022

My journey started in France, where I earned my Master's in business, finance, and audit. I spent those years deep in numbers, strategy, and risk analysis, gaining hands-on experience in banking. It was structured, challenging, and a solid career path—but I knew my ambitions stretched beyond borders. I wanted more than just a job; I wanted an international experience. That's when I set my sights on the U.S. and started searching for opportunities that would take me there.
